What we’re currently hiring for

Content + Community Assistant

Job posting close date: Sunday, January 4

Position details: ideally will start mid January, 90 day contract term followed by option for part- or full-time employment

Do you love being the person behind the scenes who keeps everything running smoothly — the one who takes a lot of moving pieces and turns them into something organized, polished, and actually executed?

Do you enjoy working with content once it already exists — formatting it, repurposing it, scheduling it, and making sure it shows up in all the right places without anyone needing to chase you down?

Have you been accused of being too #aesthetic because you genuinely care about how things look — Canva graphics, layouts, color palettes, file organization, and the overall vibe of whatever you touch?

Do you get a weird amount of satisfaction from inbox zero, clean systems, tidy community spaces, and checking things off a list knowing nothing fell through the cracks?

Do you genuinely love seeing other awesome humans succeed and you may or may not be caught on camera one day ugly crying and/or fist pumping watching iconic women doing iconic sh*t?

If you’re like… nailed it! then we’re thrilled that our job posting caught your attention. Visionaries is a young, vibrant platform for women entrepreneurs built to help founders expand their networks, access capital, and build extraordinary businesses and lives through powerful connections, curated events, strategic education, and funding opportunities that turn big visions into lasting impact.

We’re looking for a Content & Community Assistant to join our tiny but mighty team. This is an execution-focused support role where you’ll be responsible for keeping our content, inbox, and community operations organized, consistent, and beautifully executed using existing systems, templates, and direction.

This position is fully remote, so you’ll need reliable WiFi, your own computer, and a smartphone with a data plan. You’ll work closely with our founder to support content publishing, community operations, and inbox management — helping ensure everything is organized, consistent, and actually gets done.

This role sits at the intersection of content execution, community support, and admin operations. You won’t be responsible for setting marketing strategy or coming up with big-picture ideas — instead, you’ll take existing content, direction, and systems and turn them into beautifully executed, well-organized outputs across platforms.

Over time, the role can evolve based on what you enjoy most and are best at — without shifting into a strategy or decision-making position.

Details on the Content + Community Assistant role:

Overview:

  • Base pay for the role is flexible as an entry point role
  • Up to 20 hours per week to start
  • Completely flexible scheduling as long as you can check and respond to inbox / DM messages once per day during regular business hours (Mon-Thurs from 9am-6pm EST)
  • Opportunity for growth and/or transition into a full-time role at the end of the 90-day contract term

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support content publishing across platforms by formatting, scheduling, and posting social media content using existing templates, guidelines, and direction
  • Create Canva graphics and simple short-form video assets (reels, clips, carousels) based on provided content and brand standards — this role focuses on execution, not ideation
  • Lightly repurpose existing content (emails, podcast episodes, community calls, event highlights) into captions, graphics, and short-form posts using clear instructions and AI-assisted workflows
  • Use AI tools responsibly and effectively to support content repurposing, formatting, and efficiency — following brand guidelines and ensuring all outputs sound human, polished, and on-brand
  • Format and schedule emails using provided copy, templates, and systems to ensure timely, accurate, and polished delivery
  • Manage inbox flow by organizing messages, tagging and flagging priorities, drafting basic responses, and escalating items that require the Founder’s attention
  • Create and manage community events inside Circle, including scheduling, descriptions, and posting relevant details for members
  • Download call recordings from Zoom and upload replays into Circle, ensuring correct labeling, organization, and accessibility
  • Keep content, files, and assets organized across platforms (Google Drive, Circle, scheduling tools, etc.) so nothing gets lost or duplicated
  • Support basic community operations by monitoring comments, messages, and notifications to help keep conversations moving smoothly
  • Assist with backend admin tasks related to content, events, and community operations as needed to keep systems running efficiently
  • Follow established processes, checklists, and workflows while flagging gaps or improvements when something feels broken or unclear

The non-negotiables:

  • Must be at least 18-years-old by January 5, 2026
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented — you genuinely enjoy checklists, clean systems, and seeing tasks all the way through to completion
  • Comfortable working in an execution-focused support role where direction, templates, and systems are provided and followed
  • Strong aesthetic instincts and confidence using Canva to create clean, on-brand graphics without needing constant feedback
  • Able to assemble basic short-form video content (reels/clips) from existing assets and instructions
  • Comfortable managing inbox flow, including organizing messages, drafting basic responses, and knowing when to escalate rather than improvise
  • Enjoys people and human interaction, even when working mostly behind the scenes, and brings warmth, professionalism, and good judgment to any community or inbox communication
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools, platforms, and workflows without needing step-by-step hand-holding forever
  • Able to write clearly and professionally in a brand-aligned voice without relying on AI to do the thinking (we use AI — we just don’t do AI-sounding output)
  • Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage your time independently while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Thrives in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and occasional high-volume days, staying steady, professional, and focused on execution
  • Values kindness, professionalism, and human-centric interaction — especially when handling community and inbox communication
  • Strong judgment around confidentiality, boundaries, and what should (and should not) be escalated
  • Comfortable receiving feedback, adjusting quickly, and improving systems over time
  • “I can’t, “I don’t know how,” and “because we’ve always done it that way” aren’t in your vocabulary
  • Full fluency in English with excellent written communication skills
  • Full working rights within the US

Massive brownie points for:

  • Familiarity with online communities, membership platforms, or creator-led businesses
  • Prior experience supporting content publishing, community operations, or digital admin in a behind-the-scenes role
  • Working knowledge of tools like Canva, Descript, ChatGPT, Claude, Kit, Notion, Monday, Zoom, Circle, or similar platforms
  • Comfort using AI tools as a support layer for efficiency, formatting, and repurposing — paired with good judgment and a strong human editorial eye
  • Interest in how AI is shaping content, community, and digital work (without losing sight of ethics, quality, and human connection)
  • A natural instinct for organization — you don’t just follow systems, you notice when something’s off and flag it
  • An appreciation for thoughtful branding, aesthetics, and polish, even in small details most people miss
  • Previous experience in a remote role or working independently without needing constant oversight
  • A general interest in entrepreneurship, media, or community-driven businesses
